Questions
Is the assignment tracker actually free?
Yes. The tracker, all four views, unlimited classes and assignments, importing with a full change preview and both exports are free and do not need an account. The $5/month Automation plan adds scheduled email reminders and restoring from change history.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. Open the tracker, paste your sheet and work. The plan is stored in your browser. An account only matters when you want the same plan on your phone or want reminders sent to you.
Will it read my Google Sheet automatically?
No, and that is deliberate. Duesheet does not connect to your Google account. You copy the rows and paste them, or export a CSV. It means there is no permission to grant and nothing of yours we can reach on our own.
What happens when my professor moves a deadline?
Change the date in the tracker, or paste the updated sheet again. On a re-import you get a change preview first: new rows, changed dates and rows that did not change, listed separately. Nothing is duplicated and nothing is overwritten before you have seen it.
Does it sync with Canvas, Blackboard or Moodle?
No. Coursicle and several other free tools already do LMS sync well. Duesheet is for the work you keep yourself — the spreadsheet, the paper syllabus, the things your LMS never had.
Can I get my data out?
Any time, for free: a CSV that opens cleanly in Google Sheets and Excel, and an .ics calendar file for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Export is not a paid feature and will not become one.
